So this brush is worth it just for the bristles. It’s a combination of metal bristles with rounded tips, and boar bristles. Together, they feel so relaxing on the scalp. Boar bristles are also known to be great for hair as well.The side ridges work well to pull through and detangle curls without flattening them.And yes, you can twirl hair to define curls like you see on tiktok with the other brand brush. This works just as well, and I like how the handle has a thick part that tapers off.

I got this brush to see if maybe I have more curly hair than just the wavy hair it always looks like. It’s a nice brush that feels good on my scalp and going through my hair. However, it does not turn wavy hair into curly hair if it’s not curly. That seems completely logical but needed to be said. All those online videos make you think you can have those beautiful curls if your hair is poofy or frizzy but not everyone is blessed with those gorgeous curls and a brush won’t magically create them. That being said, I could see it being great for actual curls and Ib still like the brush.
